• According to the available Mercedes-Benz data card and delivery note, the vehicle was first delivered on May 4, 1959 via Mercedes-Benz Sales Inc., South Bend (USA). The optional equipment selected at the time of order included, in addition to the US specification, a Becker Mexico radio and the note “250 miles run-in,” including the first customer service to be carried out thereafter
• Delivered from the factory in a special color combination: ivory paintwork (DB 608) combined with light grey leather interior (code 955) and a black soft top
• According to the 300 SL Roadster Register, two known previous owners in the USA and one owner in Belgium (2009–2013)
• Including an existing Klaus Kukuk expert report with forensic examination of the frame and verification of the relevant numbers
