With the onset of the first cold weather, the Engadin prepares to welcome the 2025 edition of The I.C.E. St. Moritz, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the winter season.
On 21 and 22 February, the exclusive annual International Concours d’Elegance returns, bringing together magnificent classic cars against an extraordinary natural backdrop.
The town of St. Moritz and its ice-covered lake will once again be the most evocative setting for a showcase of the ultimate dream cars, in which tradition and craftsmanship are entwined with excellence of design and performance. A perfect combination of stunning cars, breathtaking scenery, refinement and hospitality of the highest level.
As is the custom, the programme will alternate between moments of static display and dynamic events; a thrilling spectacle to entertain the public, while the jury will have the task of assessing the competing cars and then awarding the coveted Best in Show prize.
There are five categories for this edition. Barchettas on the Lake, the two-seater open-top models; Open Wheels, single-seaters created for track racing between the 1950s and 1970s, the golden years of motor racing; Concept Cars & One Offs, unique examples created by visionary geniuses, or custom-made; Icons on Wheels, unrivalled witnesses to a timeless era and trends; Racing Legends, the undisputed stars of racing.
There are plenty of surprises this year, starting with the dynamic events dedicated to modern cars. These will not be just any cars, however; instead, they will be new models and unmissable live action viewing.
A further significant new feature is the extension of the programme to the entire town, with widespread events and activities that not only focus on the automotive world, but will also embrace art and culture, underlining the evolution of The I.C.E. from a single event to a real movement, promoting various aspects of a certain lifestyle ready to genuinely embrace beauty in all its forms.
