Masters Historic Racing has announced the 2025 calendar, which consists of eight rounds. For the final rounds of the season, Masters Historic turns to the Middle East, to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Nineties 3.5-litre F1s appear in a demo series, and there is a new focus on Group C prototypes.
Under its new ownership, Masters Historic Racing is about to experience a small shake-up for the 2025 season. The races ahead of the Spa Six Hours on the Spa circuit in Belgium are off, and there is no more Donington round. Instead, Masters Historic Racing turns its attention towards Germany, with a return to the Jim Clark Revival in Hockenheim in May, and the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring in August.
Gulf Historic returns
The season kicks off with the Grand Prix de France Historique at Le Castellet. Both the Masters Historic Festival at Brands Hatch (UK) and the Historic Grand Prix at Zandvoort (Netherlands) feature a filled program with most of the race series Masters has to offer. The same goes for the Silverstone Festival (UK) in August.
In October and November, Masters Historic Racing will conclude the season in the Middle East, with first Dubai and next up the Gulf Historic in Abu Dhabi, which is back on after a one-year absence.

90s F1 and Group Cs
The other bit of news comes from the addition of a new class of F1 cars, who will run as a demo series at Brands Hatch and the two events in the Middle East. Opening up for the 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated F1 of the 90s, Masters Historic Racing adds a whole new generation of single-seaters to the grid. Cars like the Judd-powered Brabham BT60B or the Ferrari 643 remain relatively easy to operate.
Next to that, series owner Fred Fatien has opened up his series to Group C prototypes as well, branded as ‘LM 80’. Next to Group C, IMSA GTP cars from the period 1982 to 1993 are eligible for this race series as well. What was known as Masters Endurance is renamed LM 90.
