Its bodywork is very tidy and the paintwork is reasonable, but showing stone chips around the headlights, front panel and to the bonnet. There is also evidence of some touching in. Brightwork appears good. The interior – grey seats and door cards with dark blue carpeting – is in generally good order but the driver’s seat does show some signs of wear. In 2005 the engine was rebuilt to 4.2-Litre unleaded specification, a year later the original three-speed automatic gearbox was replaced with a most desirable ZF four-speed unit by specialist Graham Whitehouse. Most recently the car has been regularly maintained by specialists Aston Service Dorset and Wren Classics these bills for c.£20,000 are available.
