In view of this spectacularly shaped sports coupe, let´s look back a little wistfully into an era in which the dream of superior speed was still considered ethically clean, ecologically and harmless correct. Giovanni Savonuzzi called the Jaguar XK 120 Supersonic because the design is similiar to a jet.
The basis was an Alfa Romeo 1900 engine but with a special tubular chassis featuring Fiat 1400 front axle and Lancia Aurelia transaxle and rear supension. Three more car types were created from the Jaguar XK 120. This is the XK 120 with 180 HP who was a Participants at the Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este 2019 at Cernobbio.
