
In 1990, I put my Cobra on a Boeing 747 and flew her to Los Angeles.
I was upstairs, upgraded in business class.
The next morning, I collected the car from customs in Los Angeles.
German plates, right hand drive.
And then I drove.
Sunset Boulevard.
Mulholland Drive.
Santa Monica.
Malibu.
An indescribable feeling.
But Los Angeles wasn’t the real reason I had brought my Cobra to America.
I wanted to race here.
