IWC Racing & HK-Engineering At Goodwood Members Meeting

Once again, the 78th Goodwood Members Meeting brought together the most legendary historic racing cars. The adrenaline-fueled event at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in the south of England marked the first appearance, after a 20-month absence from racing, of the IWC Racing motorsport team in HK-Engineering‘s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

The last event was at Goodwood in April 2019 when Formula 1 legend David Coulthard took first place in the Tony Gaze Trophy. Since 2018, the racing team has regularly competed with the HK-Engineering Gullwing in various vintage races. At this year’s Goodwood Members Meeting, Laura Kraihamer, the new member of the IWC Racing family, made her Goodwood debut in the Stirling Moss Trophy. As was the case at the Goodwood Revival, this trophy is very competitive and mainly features cars of later vintages.

“It’s a shame that the season is already over! One ray of hope is that on April 9, 2022, there will be racing on the Goodwood Motor Circuit again. We are already looking forward to an action-packed event with high-speed racing and many other spectacular displays.”
