The history of this vehicle is so special that it can be told quite quickly. On 2 November 1993, the first owner of the vehicle, who ran a car dealership in Neckarsulm near Heilbronn, registered the Mini with the number plate HN-PA 287. On 3 November 1993, exactly one day later, the vehicle was deregistered. Both the vehicle registration document from that time and the deregistration certificate are available.
Since that day, the vehicle has remained in its original, untouched condition with just 80 kilometres on the clock. Nothing has been modified, repainted or changed on the vehicle. Even the tyres are still from that time. It’s like travelling back to 1993 as soon as you get into the car. A unique gem from the 1990s that will make any collector’s heart beat faster.
In recent years, this Mini Cooper has been part of a famous German collection. Even though it has not been driven on the road for more than three decades in order to maintain its low mileage, the engine has always been well maintained and has been warmed up at regular intervals. The spark plugs have recently been replaced, the injection system overhauled, fuel pressure and compression checked, and some wear parts replaced.
It can rightly be claimed that there is definitely no better example of this vehicle!
