One of only 217 LHD examples! Very low mileage! Perfect condition and timeless colour combination!
The Bentley Continental T was introduced in 1996, as a “hardcore” short wheel base version of the elegant Continental R. It offered more power and torque in combination with an even more impressive styling, at the expense of rear passenger room. The bespoke interior had a turned-aluminium dashboard with chrome finished gauges, lambswool carpets and of course the full leather treatment. The engine produced 405 bhp and a massive torque figure of 881 Nm, which made it pull like a very fast locomotive. It reached 100 km/h in less then 7 seconds and a top speed of 275 km/h was claimed. All very impressive for a 2,5 ton heavy weight isn’t it?
The example Albion Motorcars is offering for sale is an exceptionnal one, with only 18.370 km on the clocks. It was delivered new by Bentley Hamburg to a Saudi first owner, and always remained in Germany until 2005. The second and last owner bought the car in 2005 with a mileage of 15.520 km and kept it in his private collection until today. The Continental T is still in showroom condition, and looks and feels like a brand new car. The interior is gorgeous with beautiful leather and fantastic looking turned aluminium panels on the dashboard and door panels. The combination with the stylish walnut panels works incredibly well, and entering this car makes you feel very special. The colour combination of Diamond Graphite paint with the light grey hide is unique and suits this very exclusive car perfectly. Driving the Continental T is quite an experience, and not comparable with any other car from that era.
As big Bentley coupés have always been sought after by collectors, this is possibly the opportunity to obtain one of the best examples of the rare Continental T. Only 217 LHD examples were constructed between 1997 and 2003, and finding one in this condition and timeless colour combination is unique.
