• according to the available Mercedes-Benz delivery bill, the car was first delivered to the USA on January 30, 1962 – the ownership history is very well documented with two owners from Michigan and Wisconsin (according to the 300 SL Registry) as well as other owners in England (1991), Ireland (1993-2000), Belgium (2000-10) and Germany (from 2010)
• this Roadster was very extensively partially restored in Germany (1997 / 2001) and has been driven approx. 25,000 kilometers since engine overhaul in 2011 – very detailed picture and invoice documentation for all work carried out from 1993 onwards is available for over 300.000 DM/EUR
• equipped with the coveted and sought-after disc brakes ex works, a rare hardtop, HK-ENGINEERING 5-speed gearbox, EU headlights, electric auxiliary fan and Becker Europa radio
