One of the best examples of the elegant Chevron B16 – an iconic car from the iconic era of sportscar racing.
Originally delivered to the DART (Dobbie Automobile Racing Team), and driven by John Miles and Graham Birrell who had come to prominence driving for Ecurie Ecosse in European F2. The car won its first race. This car has an incredibly well documented history and DBE29 is widely regarded to be one of only 4 or 5 B16 cars to remain with unquestioned history. Recently rebuilt and maintained to the highest standards, this car has recently raced at Masters FIA Sportscars, Monterey Historics, and is regular entrant to Peter Auto events such as LeMans Classic. With fresh engine, new fuel cells, and current (2016) FIA HTP papers, this car is ready to be enjoyed and raced on the world’s best circuits. Complete with spares package consisting spare nose, spare wheels, gear ratios and a selection of running spares, this car also has an enormous history file, including road registration documents, bills of sale, correspondence, maintenance bills, and race results.
