2004 Lotus Elise Factory Built Race Car was built by Lotus Motorsports in 2004. One of only two built, this Elise was sent to Hunting Ridge Motorsports to be campaigned in SCCA T1/T2. The second car was driven by Ian Prout in the first SCCA T1 race that an Elise ever entered in the US. The Elise was then re classified and campaigned in the T2 Class. This particular car was sold to a privateer racer/collector and has remained in his loving care until we recently took possession. It was built with a factory FIA approved cage but upon entry, it was converted to an SCCA compliant cage. Other Motorsport equipment includes an accusump pump, six point harnesses, full plumbed fire extinguisher system, Racing Sport seats, removable steering wheel, kill switches, Limited Slip Differential, Cat Pipe, Lotus Motorsport badging and decals and more. Additional performance improvements were made by the owner over the years in order to obtain maximum performance while maintaining the the car’s designed integrity and reliability. Added were front and rear spoilers, larger rear diffusor, lightweight race battery, wink mirror, fully adjustable Nitron suspension, short shift kit, improved brakes with uprated rotors and pads and more.
Don’t miss the opportunity to own a rare Lotus /Motorsport factory built, reliable race and track day car at a very affordable price.
It’s an easy car to maintain and an incredibly well balanced car to explore your and the cars limits.
We sold this car to a client in the Atlanta area but due to a challenging schedule and subsequent lack of use, it is once again available for sale.
