1973 BMW 3.0 CSL Gr-2

Chassis #2285112. This car was delivered new in the UK and converted to a Gr. 2 race car in the early 80’s. It was driven very successfully in several Britisch Championship Races by Terry Kaby until the early 90’s. Then owned by BMW CSL’s specialist Chris Randall which drove it himslef and converted it to left hand drive. The car was then upgraded with a 3.5L 2-valve race engine. Sold to Belgium in 2008, Germany and then to Switzerland where it was completely restored and no expenses where spared to bring it to the todays level (fully documented with pictures and invoices for nearly € 200’000). The car is absolutely 100% race ready and has a current FIA HTP valid until 31.12.2025. The engine has 338 HP (Dyno tested) and 0 hours running since then.
A very nice car, in excellent condition and ready to be driven in Patrick Peter’s HTC. 8 spare wheels come with the car.

The origin of „Carosserie Graber“ goes back to 1925 when Hermann Graber started as an independent coachbuilder in Wichtrach near Bern. In 1929 a Panhard-Levassor bodied by Graber won first place at the St-Moritz Concours d’Elegance which gave him valuable and wide publicity. In the 30’s Graber became World famous for his beautifull convertible and coupés body designs and for his perfect craftmanship.Until his death in 1970 Hermann Graber designed and built over 800 Coachworks on chassis from Alvis, Aston-Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Duesenberg, Lagonda, Packard, Rolls-Royce, Rover and others.With his death in 1970, the Coachbuilding stopped in Wichtrach, but the Work- and Bodyshop was carried on by his widow until 1980.From 1980 until 1996 Graber was one of the official Swiss Ferrari Dealer and very active in the complete restoration of Italian and German sport cars. In 2001 Graber Sportgarage merged with the workshop of Markus Scharnhorst and moved all activites to Toffen, where the locality where bigger and more appropriate to the activites of the company.Today Graber Sportgarage is mainly focused on the service, maintainance, race preparation and trading of classic and historic sports cars. Workshop The workshop Team consists of 8 specialized mechanics with a total of over 100 years experience.
