Was built into a race car in 2000 by Wayne Baker’s Personalized Autohaus to compete in the HSR 2.0 Liter racing series. For the past 10-plus years, it has been maintained by Brant Parsons of Shamrock Racing for owner Stan Gold and the many guest drivers that have been invited to drive the car in historic events. Driven by Stan Gold, Andy Prill, Yves Junne, Milt Minter, Davey Jones and Matt Parsons, taking part in Monterey Motorsports Reunion, Laguna Seca, Sebring, Coronado Speed Festival, Watkins Glen and other race events.
Condition: Well presented in classic white, last painted in 2009, with good panel fit. Front RSR style oil cooler. Fiberglass front hood. 6×15 front Fuchs wheels, 7×15 rear Fuchs wheels with 550×15 Hoosier Vintage TD tires. Complete roll cage with Sparco race seat, Sparco seat belts and ATL fuel cell.
Engine: 2.3-liter, 6-cylinder with magnesium case, twin plug ignition, 40mm Weber carburetors, GE 80 cams, titanium valves, high compression pistons and cylinders. Produces 230 HP on the dyno. “Low time” with just five hours’ run time.
Transmission: 5-speed with torque bias unit, 904 main shaft. Current gears are C 15/36, F 18/34, J 21/31, 0 23/28 and S 25/26.
