Produced on February 5, 1969, this example of Jaguar E Type was delivered from the factory to the British Leyland dealership in New York. Since 1984 it has belonged to a Californian collector as evidenced by the last Title issued.

In 1990 a Milanese collector bought it in California, choosing it for its excellent condition and sent it directly to England to undergo a concours restoration completed in two years by the well-known Jaguar specialist “JD Classic”.

In 1993, when the restoration was completed, it was imported to Italy and registered in its name with the Milan number plate which is still present on the car.

After 26 years from the purchase in California, the owner sold it to the second Italian owner who in 2016 subjected the car to a complete mechanical overhaul of the engine and gearbox and brakes in the Jaguar “Galbiati” specialized workshop in Milan at a total cost of 12,000 euros. The car is supplied with extensive documentation in which the original American documents are found, the photographs of the car in excellent original condition before the restoration, the certifications of the “Jaguar Heritage Trust”.
