1967 Plymouth GTX

If there was ever a textbook example of a true-to-form resto-mod, this Plymouth Belvedere has to be it. Showcasing the hard work of very skilled enthusiasts who understand how to enhance the best attributes of a professional restoration, this exemplary coupe features a slew of top-shelf modifications. If you’re in the market for an incredible classic that can be shown and driven with the best muscle cars on the road, take a look at this tough GTX! After spending most of its life as a clean driver, this awesome B-Body was the perfect starting point for a professional, 6-figure restoration that mixed a killer engine with classic MoPar attitude. Toss the lightweight hood and you’ll find 477 cubic inches of Hemi big block that, according to the car’s previous owner, moves to the tune of 676 horsepower and 665 lb./ft. of tire-melting torque! That mill sends thrust to a rugged Tremec 6-speed, which wraps a tough hydraulic clutch in an SFI-certified blowproof bellhousing. That proven transmission twists a chrome-capped Dana 60, which spins a posi-trac differential around 3.73 gears and high quality Moser axles. That drivetrain rides in a thoroughly massaged suspension that mixes a Reilly Motorsports front-half with VariShock coil-overs, Edelbrock shocks, Direct Connection leaf springs and Competition Engineering traction bars. Turns come courtesy of power rack-and-pinion steering. Stops are provided by powdercoated Wilwood calipers, which squeeze drilled and slotted rotors. 3-inch exhaust employs an H-shaped crossover in front of clean Dynomax mufflers. And torque meets the pavement through American Racing Custom 500s, which spin 225/50R17 Nitto Extreme Performance redlines in front of 255/50R17 Nitto Extreme Performance redlines. Are you looking for big power, great handling and a tailored appearance that’s fit to impress? Congratulations, you’ve found your next classic!
